Freemason's and 'Black Balls'

| An extremely mild and humid morning greeted the competitors of the 2005 annual bowls competition which took place at Brora Bowling Club. Apart from a very light shower, which conveniently fell while the players took a short break in the clubhouse after the first round, the day stayed warm and dry. A raffle was held on the day with the proceeds of £120 going to the Red-Cross. |

| Semi-finalists:- Bro's. T.Wink and W.Reid, runner-up:- Bro. D.J.Sutherland PM. Lodge Clyne No 1400, and the winning trophy going to novice player Bro. David MacDonald, WSW Lodge St Andrew No 1318. The special Red-Cross trophy went to non-mason Mr Harry Hastings of Brora who made up the numbers for play. |
